60-Day ONLINE PRESENCE Process

WHAT WILL HAPPEN

For you:

  • By the end of this process, you will have an easier time posting blogs, sending blogs and other updates to your audience, communicating with your clients, and getting paid for your classes.

  • You will have less work to do when it comes to collecting payments and scheduling clients into your workshops/classes.

  • You’ll get less questions on how your services work because your website will be so comprehensive and understandable to someone who is and is not familiar with the work you do.

  • You don’t have to memorize how to send blogs to your mailing list or how to add a live class on the schedule because you’ll always have the tutorials to watch that show you how to do this.

  • Most of all, you will feel more organized because all of these moving parts will be in one place.

For your clients:

  • Your clients and future clients will feel relieved by how easy it is to navigate your website, making it simpler to sign up for your workshops/classes.

  • They will be more committed to showing up for the workshops/classes they signed up for because they will receive reminders and will have already paid. Your clients will have an easier time paying (and can get a receipt).

  • They will be able to access your on demand classes on their phone, tablet, or computer once they pay or opt in, and they will be more engaged in your work by receiving more frequent communication with you, including your blogs.

  • Your email audience will know about upcoming opportunities to work with you.

  • Future clients will be able to find your work on Google more easily and understand how they will benefit from your workshops and classes, even if they are not familiar with the modality.

For the future:

  • You will have a foundation of an engaged audience. Yes, creating this comprehensive website and email system helps with your workload now, but it also sets you up to eventually market and sell your book, get more clients with less work, and have an open door to expand into other opportunities in your work.

    • Potential opportunities include:

      • Running email marketing campaigns to get your audience excited about the book (teasers, pre-orders and reviews which really help rankings, and sales).

      • Adding more on demand classes.

      • Building your archive.

      • Posting blogs and other content straight from your website to all social platforms

HOW I MAKE THIS ALL HAPPEN (the technical crap):

  • Review any existing material and/or discuss the ins and outs about your workshops, classes, intensives, and one on one services. Write copy or optimize existing copy about your services so they are extremely clear and written in client-focused language for your website. Ensure we are bridging your services with the client’s needs and knowledge. The copy will be SEO optimized and keyword rich helping your website show up on Google.

  • Create a Squarespace account and access your Go Daddy account.

  • Migrate all blogs and other content from Go Daddy website to Squarespace platform so we don’t lose any information, including your blogs.

  • Create an on demand classes page on your website where clients can access your individual on demand classes

    • Set up a paywall (where the client has to pay to access the video) and/or an opt in (where the client has to enter their email to access the video if the video is free)

  • Create a live workshops page with payment required to sign up including in person group workshops/classes, zoom group workshops/classes, and intensives

    • Create a discount code to bring the cost down to $0 that you can give to your family and friends who can attend classes for free

  • Create a one on one consultation page including a contact form and tailored information about your one on one sessions (only you will be able to schedule them)

  • Add the option to subscribe to your emails (blogs). These emails go directly into your existing email list. No extra steps.

  • Access all of your emails and messages in Squarespace and/or your favorite email account.

  • Design your new website with ease, function, and organization in mind (along with other design notes such as “watery” “greek blue” “simple”). The design phase includes revisions as needed.

  • Set up your email marketing platform in Squarespace including migrating over your email list and creating a template with seamless design that matches your website. This template is for you to send blogs and other communication to your audience.

  • Optimize SEO descriptions and titles so your pages are easily found by people who search in Google and other search engines

  • Integrate your social media.

  • Cancel Go Daddy, switch the domain from Go Daddy to Squarespace website so you can still find your website at the same link

  • Make tutorials for how to navigate and edit your website, upload and format blogs, check messages, write emails using the template, and send blogs.

  • Price includes a whole year subscription to Squarespace (the best platform for visual-first websites) with option to capture sales directly through website transactions and with in person Square, and Squarespace email platform to seamlessly send emails from your website and retain the same look.
